“So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, ‘Come back to God!’” 2 Corinthians 5:20 NLT

Ambassador: an authorized representative or messenger.

As ambassadors, we are only authorized to represent Jesus by the life he lived and sacrifice he made.

Throughout these 21 days we want to not only look inward, but to be reminded of our call to reach outward. So often we get caught up on what part of the body we are supposed to be. Am I a preacher, worship leader, etc.? One thing for sure, is that we are called to be evangelists. The universal call for all believers is go to and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Walking in that call of God will reveal more of exactly who God calls us to be.

What I love about this call to action is that the there are no prerequisites. Belief and following Jesus are enough to spread the good news! We don’t have to depend on our charisma or social skills to help share the life change God has made within all of us. He made us unique and loves us uniquely. I truly believe there are people that each of us can reach specifically. Our circle of influences change, our social skills vary, but the message of Jesus transcends it all. The love of God is the true equalizer.
