“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10-11 ESV

This scripture makes it clear that God has equipped us all with gifts and talents. But sometimes we forget why he has given us these gifts. It is to serve one another. At VOUS, our servant leaders show up early and stay late using their talents to serve others so they might experience God. From the parking lot to the pulpit, all 29 teams work together every Sunday to communicate the message of Jesus.

To make space for all of these teams to train and remind themselves of the why behind serving, we have Team Night. At VOUS, we want to serve our community and our city with excellence. Team Night equips our servant leaders to do just that. Every team plays such a vital role in others walking through our doors and having a great experience. On these nights, we get to hear vision on what our teams can improve for the future to make that experience of every guest that much more welcoming and life giving.

Maybe you don't think you have anything to add to our teams. We would disagree. We believe God has placed gifts inside of you that can bring him glory. It is our job to step out and sharpen those gifts so that we can serve others to the best of our ability.

Team Night is a night that individuals get better and a night that our church gets better. We hope that you will join us for SZN 3.
